The Children’s Stations

Hallo, my name’s Orgelinchen and I am going to go with you on your exploration adventure through the Museum of Organ Construction in Ostheim vor der Rhön. You will find me on special children’s notices in the exhibition. Wherever you see me, there is something for you to discover!

But first you have to collect your equipment at the ticket desk: a rucksack with a lot of things to help you and a page of puzzles. Now let’s get started!

At the five Discovery Stations you can find out - or guess - or try out a lot of important things about organs You can measure how small the smallest organ pipe is and how much air an organ needs. Test how a valve works and guess the music an organ is playing – and only you can hear the music with the headphones in your rucksack. And if you go on to discover what a ″Wake-the-Bellows-Boy-Bell″ is useful for, you’ve made it!

Now you’re not only a real organ expert, but there’s even a surprise waiting for you
at the ticket desk!
